I grew up in a small town in East Tennessee, raised by a grandmother who had a Bible verse for every situation life threw at you. Faith was not something we talked about on Sundays and set aside the rest of the week. It was woven into everything. It was how we grieved, how we celebrated, how we got out of bed on the hard mornings.

When I left for college at Belmont University in Nashville, I carried that foundation with me. But somewhere between finals, friendships, and figuring out who I was, I started to feel the distance grow. It was not until my junior year, sitting in a chapel service on a Thursday afternoon, that something cracked back open. I remember the pastor reading Psalm 46:10 and feeling like the room went quiet just for me.
That verse never left me.

After graduating I kept coming back to one question: how do you give someone that feeling? How do you put something in their hands that reminds them to stop, breathe, and remember that Jesus is already in the room?

Be Still Co. started as an answer to that question. I began curating pieces centered on faith and scripture, gifts worthy of the women who raised us, the friends who carry us, and anyone walking through a season where they need to be reminded they are not alone.

Every item in this shop is chosen with intention and prayer. My hope is that it finds exactly the person who needs it.
